Hong Kong's Sha Tin: CD Warehouse

CD Warehouse is a music chain store with locations throughout Hong Kong.  The branch I visited is located in Sha Tin's New Town Plaza, a multistory high end mall directly across from the transit station.  This shop is a bit hidden because it's on level 7 (shop 705), primarily a dining floor.

Despite being a small store, I was so surprised at the extensive Kpop collection!  There were two long displays full of Korean albums, DVDs and other official merchandise, listed alphabetically.  The bottom shelf contains the special merchandise (official calendars, photobooks, etc.).  CD Warehouse carries mostly the most popular artists, including Infinite, Super Junior, B1A4, BAP, VIXX, Miss A, Apink, SHINee, f(x), and many more.  There was also a bit of Korean Jpop, including Japanese albums by IU and CNBlue.

At the end of one display there are also boxed sets of some recent Korean dramas, including I Miss You, 49 Days, City Hunter, Rooftop Prince, The Moon that Embraces the Sun, Nice Guy and Flower Boy Ramyun Shop.

The workers can check to see if specific inventory is in stock, however they can't see if other branches carry certain items.  If you're in the area, check out CD Warehouse!
