I can't believe it's already a new era for Golden Child! Golden Child's first repackage album Without You was released on January 29th, 2020. I was quite late in pre-ordering this time, placing my order on January 28th KST. I know I complain about almost every company, but this time I settled on Ktown4u because even though they've messed up my order at least twice, I know they own up to their mistakes, unlike Kpoptown who messed up my order and never refunded me back. So, I ordered 5 copies of the repackage album along with folded posters for $77 USD plus $53 express shipping (option of UPS or EMS, so I chose UPS). I'm unsure why DHL hasn't been an option lately...I always worry if Ktown will ask for additional shipping fees; the email details showed my package would be 3,700g and luckily my package was shipped without any additional fees on January 30th at 10AM KST. I was really happy for it to be shipped out so quickly.
My other worry is if they shipped out the correct items, as this is where Ktown has messed up my orders at least twice. My package arrived on January 31st and to my relief, I did receive everything I had ordered. My 5 albums along with 5 folded posters were securely wrapped in several layers of bubblewrap and with a large bubble sheet on top to fill the box. 4 albums were together, followed by the 5 posters, and then another album. And I received 2 copies of 1 poster and 3 copies of the other. And to my pleasant surprise, Ktown included another 5% off coupon which expires at the end of the year. I'm definitely 100% satisfied with my order!
This is the first time Golden Child only has 1 version instead of 2 versions since Gol-Cha! Which is to my disappointment because there are 1/10 random posters, 1/10 random special films, and 1/10 random photocards that I'd like to collect, so with that it'd be great if there were also more versions containing the same random pulls...
For my first copy, I pulled the Jaehyun photocard and Donghyun special film within pages 16 and 17, as well as the Donghyun poster. I can't express just how happy I was to pull Jaehyun! It's usually hard for me to pull my bias(es) so I really lucked out this time.
For my second copy, I pulled the Daeyeol photocard and Y special film within pages 18 and 19, as well as another copy of the Donghyun poster! As I was unfolding the poster, when I saw those clasped hands, I figured it was a duplicate.
For my third copy, I pulled the Bomin photocard and Bomin special film (double Bomin!) within the tracklist page, along with the Y poster.
For my fourth copy, I pulled the Seungmin photocard and Joochan special film within pages 48 and 49, as well as the Jaehyun poster! I am in love with this poster and am so happy to have pulled another Jaehyun random.
And for my last copy, I pulled the Donghyun photocard (complete Donghyun set!) and Tag special film within pages 22 and 23, along with another Donghyun poster. I think Donghyun's making it pretty clear how he's nailing this era with his mature look!
To recap, for the photocards I pulled Daeyeol, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Donghyun, and Bomin.
For the special films I pulled Y, Tag, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin.
And for the posters I pulled Y, Jaehyun, and Donghyun x3. These posters are absolutely beautiful, high quality, and huge! Out of the three random inclusions, the poster is definitely my favorite.
Here is everything I pulled. I'm happy to have pulled almost every member (and sad I didn't pull Jangjun or Jibeom...Jibeom especially since he's my other bias!). I'll be posting an unboxing review of this album soon.

Golden Child Future And Past Merchandise Review (Part 2 of 2)
Here is the second part of my unboxing review for Golden Child's first concert Future And Past official merchandise. I previously gave an intro and blogged about the hoodie, light stick pouch, strap keyring, wappen, and grip holder here. Below I will blog about the Postcard & Poster Set, Ticket Book, and ID Picture.
Postcard & Poster Set
The postcard and poster set is bundled in a flat paper envelop.
Here is the backside. The envelop is sealed with a clear circle sticker.
This is how the poster set and postcard set were placed inside the envelop.
Both sets came in their own respective resealable clear bags.
The postcard set is from the Gol-Cha! photoshoot location! There are 11 postcards, in age order from Daeyeol to Bomin and with a group shot at the end.
The backsides have the the members' printed autographs.
These postcards are really high quality. They're like a matte cardstock, but the photo itself has a gloss finish. Each postcard is also just under 5" by 7".
The poster set includes 11 sheets with the order. I'm really impressed by the quality of these posters! Upon seeing the packaging, I had my doubts as to the small size of these "posters", but now seeing them in person, these are more like large photocards. They are A4 size and made of matte cardstock.
The backside has the concert name.
Ticket Book
The ticket book comes in a resealable clear bag.
Here is the front cover of the ticket book. I love how it includes the old and new Golden Child logo.
The ticket book cover is high quality and thick to protect the precious contents inside. The ticket book is about 7.25" by 8.5" by 1.5".
The right spine has the concert name embossed in gold to match the rest of the text on covers.
The ticket book is held closed by two magnets on the front cover. Opening up the book reveals a large group photo.
There are sleeves already included in the ticket book, along with one photocard per member from the same photoshoot. They're already pre-placed in age order. Right away I was a bit disappointed at all the loose plastic threads coming off of these sleeves; you can see the next to Y's photocard.
The backsides of the photocards are reminiscent of Gol-Cha! with its color scheme and old logo. It includes a printed autograph and message from each member.
And here are the last two members' photocards.
And lastly their printed signs and messages. Afterwards there are an abundant amount of empty card sleeves. I'm honestly not sure what to do with these; with only four per sleeve it won't look as nice breaking up sets over three pages. And what do I do with the included photocard set? Do I leave it in this book or do I add it to my main collection in my binder?
There are also many sleeves meant to hold tickets. There are two "tickets" displaying each day of Future And Past. These sleeves are much more sleek and don't have any loose threads.
The backsides of these tickets include group photos from each photoshoot used for this concert.
I put my two concert tickets here. The sleeve was actually really tough to separate apart because it's so fresh; I had to really pinch it to separate it apart.
At the very back is a folder to hold other memorabilia! This was a nice surprise, and it's a bit thick so you can add a lot in here.
ID Picture
Originally when the merchandise list was released, I had thought the ID Picture included all members. But as I placed my pre-order on Everline, to my great disappointment it is one per member, with 10 versions total. And with the limit of five items per order, I was only able to preorder five despite having different versions. Luckily I was able to purchase the other five member versions on site.
The packaging for these ID pictures is really cute, bundled up together in a vintage brown paper envelope and then in a resealable clear bag. The packaging looks the same for all members; the only difference is that a sticker with the member's name is on the clear bag on the front.
Here is how the ID picture looks inside the envelop.
And here is the ID picture. It is 6" by 4" and is actually on photo print paper, as if you went to an ID photo shop and had it printed.
Here are all 10 versions. Honestly this is probably one of the items I'm least excited about, as it's just so simple (what am I to do with the same photo printed eight times?). But of course I couldn't not get all versions...
The backside is like photo print paper, with the Fujifilm text.
Reflections
Overall, I'm really grateful to have been able to attend Golden Child's first concert and to collect all of the concert merchandise. I was most excited about the light stick pouch when the merchandise list was announced, now I find most useful the grip holder (I'm used to it now and use it 24/7), and I'm most pleasantly surprised by the poster & postcard set due to such high quality. I'm a bit disappointed about the quality of the sleeves within the ticket book and about the price of the ID picture (maybe if they had just one version containing all members and priced it a bit higher, I'd be more satisfied with it; or maybe it's just because I have so many versions I feel a bit overwhelmed!). This wraps up my merchandise unboxing review for Future And Past...can't believe it's already been two weeks...until next time!

Golden Child Future And Past Merchandise Review (Part 1 of 2)
Golden Child held their first solo concert, Future And Past, on January 18th and 19th, 2020! I've waited for this moment for a long time, and am really grateful to have witnessed this event in person at Blue Square I Market Hall in Seoul. I blogged about preordering concert merchandise and on-site pickup and purchasing here.
There were a total of 9 goods available from pre-order and onsite. Prices below are from the Korean and US versions of everlineshop.com on January 27th. Actually when I made my pre-order purchase on the US site, the prices were different, so the US prices may change based on the current exchange rate.
I purchased all goods except for the light stick, as it is still Version 1. I got my runebong from my 1st generation Goldenness kit back at the end of 2018 and am grateful I can finally use it to cheer on my boys! The light stick was sold out by 3:30PM on Sunday.
Hoodie
By 3:30PM on Sunday, the hoodie was sold out. And for good reason! Golden Child wore these hoodies during their encore stage on Saturday. For the encore stage on Sunday, their hoodies were all hemmed significantly and their pockets removed.
The hoodie comes neatly folded in a resealable clear plastic bag.
The backside of the bag has the product sticker.
The hoodie is quite simple, with "FUTURE AND PAST" in black on the front, the original Golden Child logo in black upside down on the hood, and a little tag on the inside with the original logo.
The hoodie comes in one size. I'm 5'4" and 110lb, and this is how the hoodie is on me. The sleeve cuffs go past my fingertips, and the hoodie hits mid-thigh. There is also a kangaroo pouch.
It's loose and roomy and really does fit comfortably like a dress. The inside feels a bit rough though.
The hood fits comfortably like this, so you don't really see the logo.
With the hood down, you can see the logo clearly and in the correct orientation.
Light Stick Pouch
The light stick pouch was also sold out by 3:30PM on Sunday. And this was the only item that was also sold out during pre-orders (I lucked out because I think two were refunded during pre-ordering period, so I made my bulk purchase then).
The pouch comes in an exterior drawstring bag. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the pouch inside the drawstring bag...This bag is quite large and very convenient for going around the venue collection fansite merch - it fit all my slogans really well.
The card tag has the concert logo printed and is strung together with a safety pin attached to the drawstring.
The backside of the card tag has the product info.
The light stick pouch has an adjustable strap, and where the straps are attached aren't symmetrical, which has a better feel when wearing the strap over my right shoulder and across my chest. The body of the pouch has a foam texture while the sides have a vinyl texture. The straps are made of lanyard material.
The original Golden Child logo has a shimmery gold embroidery.
The pouch itself is quite roomy; I thought it would form around the runebong snuggly, however it's really just an open pouch with no structure inside. But on the plus side, it's so roomy that I could fit cup sleeves (pictured) and paper banners (not pictured) and they'd remain in good condition despite being in pit for hours.
Here you can see there are inches between the bottom of the runebong and the end of the pouch.
But the best surprise was this baby zipper pouch attached inside! Perhaps it's for airpods?
Here's how the pouch sits as a crossbody.
While in the concert, the fan to my left kindly pointed out that the pouch kept hitting her, so I slung it around my neck instead like this. It also fits comfortably like this, especially when I was in the front row and didn't have to worry about bonking into anyone in front of me.
Strap Keyring
The strap keyring was also sold out by 3:30PM on Sunday, while all other goods were still in stock (except for the ID Picture, they don't list out which members were sold out).
The strap comes supported by cardboard and inside a resealable clear bag. The strap itself has the new Golden Child logo on it.
The backside of the cardboard has the concert design.
The strap has two really cute charms on them - one is a bowling pin with the original Golden Child font, and the other is a bowling ball with the concert logo. There is also a clamp and cellphone charm line for multiple ways to attach this strap onto something.
Here I used the cellphone charm line to hang it on my Goldenness tote strap, but honestly it looks awkward here. I'm still trying to figure out where else I could use it.
Wappen
The wappen is secured in the cardboard and placed inside a resealable clear bag. Out of all their patch designs from their baseball uniforms, I wonder how they chose this one. I had actually already made my own of this one for my own jersey, though in a different color scheme...
On the backside you can see the pin in place.
I still don't know what a "wappen" is, but it is the same idea as the patches from Golden Child's Golden Day fan meeting. However, this wappen is better quality, as it's thicker and not as bendable.
The backings are similar though, with how the pins are, which I found are very sturdy and good quality.
Grip Holder
The grip holder comes with a card tag that has the product info and a resealable clear bag.
Here is the backside of the exterior.
The griptok has the original Golden Child logo in a reflective finish, so it shines various colors depending on the angle and lighting.
There is also a mirror, which you can open by slightly lifting the lid and then sliding the lid counterclockwise. Here is how the mirror looks when the lid is flipped at the maximum angle.
Here is the griptok when fully extended. You can also rotate the top part of the griptok 360, so that the logo is centered.
This is my first time using a griptok, and boy was I foolish. I stuck it a bit too low on my phone case, and now can't remove it and readjust its placement. The one plus is that it's really stuck on my plastic case and won't seem to budge, but I guess this means I'll just need to adapt...
At first I was uncertain about this set of concert merchandise, but now I'm in love with it all! The hoodie may be oversized but as a dress it could be comfy cute; the pouch and drawstring bag definitely come in handy on concert days, the strap and wappen are cute accessories to lowkey show your Goldenness spirit, and the griptok is useful.
I also blogged about the remaining three items (Postcard & Poster Set, Ticket Book, and ID Picture) here!
