Lovelyz: 2018 Season's Greetings Review

It's already 2019, but I just got Lovelyz' 2017 and 2018 Season's Greetings during my recent trip in LA (which was to see Lovelyz perform!). I blogged about my purchasing experience for the 2018 set at Music Plaza here and in this post I'll unbox Lovelyz' 2018 Season's Greetings.
The packaging is like Infinite's and Lovelyz' previous season's greetings boxes, similar to a cardboard pizza box. There is a pink and pastel yellow color scheme, with a simplistic cupcake logo.
The bottom of the box also has the cupcake logo in the center, and the holographic Woollim sticker in the bottom right.
Opening the flap reveals the desk calendar on top, which is surprisingly much smaller than the box itself.
Underneath the desk calendar are the remaining contents: the making DVD and postcard set on top, with the memo pad and pencil set nestled in their own cardboard bedding.
Here are the memo pad and pencil set in their secured places.
Here are all the contents: desk calendar, memo pad, postcard set, making DVD, and pencil set.
The pencil set comes in a simplistic yet cute matte cardboard box.
There are 3 black pencils inside, with "2018 LOVELYZ SEASON'S GREETINGS" and the cupcake logo in printed in silver.
The memo pad comes in a matte booklet design with dimensions about 5.5" by 7.375" by 0.4375".
The front cover has a group photo from what I'll call the sleepover photoshoot.
Here is the back cover, again with the cute cupcake design.
Opening up the booklet, the left has the largest writing pad while the right has a variety of smaller, more colorful pads. Unfortunately for mine, the white writing pad tore between the last page and second to last page.
The postcard set came in a sealed plastic bag. There is one postcard of each member placed in age order from Babysoul to Yein, all from the same photoshoot (which I'll refer to as the party photoshoot). The postcards are all matte with dimensions about 3.5" by 5.5".
Here is the backside of the postcard.
The making DVD comes in a paper envelope.
Here is the DVD design. The inside of the envelope even has the cupcake pattern!

The DVD is for all regions, is just over 27 minutes long, and includes Korean subtitles. The first few minutes show behind the scenes of both the sleepover and party photoshoots, with Lovelyz' instrumental tracks in the background. There is also an informal Q&A while on the sets. The majority of the DVD contains a more formal individual interview where each member is asked the same set of questions. The last few minutes is of the members at the party set revealing their handwritten new year's cards.
And now onto the desk calendar! Standing up, the calendar is about 8.75" tall and the base is about 2.5".
The backside of the desk calendar is made of a thick cardboard and is canary yellow.
The calendar has an interesting design where it is split into two sections.
The first page includes the 2018 calendar with Lovelinus dates circled in red.
For months January through August, each member gets one month in age order from Babysoul to Yein, all from the sleepover shoot. The first side of each month includes two photos, along with the calendar for that month.
The other side has another photo, along with that member's printed message and autograph.
Kei's so absolutely so adorable! Ever since I saw her Kakao Apeach sleep mask, I really wanted one too! This was the closest design I could find, which my brother got while in Seoul last spring.
This is probably my most favorite photo of the calendar!
Yein's is also really adorable with the teddy bear!
I absolutely love the sleepover shoot; it's just so soft and adorable.
The remaining four months are paired in age order and the photos are all from the party shoot. Babysoul and Jiae share September, with the Babysoul featured on the front side and the two girls sharing space on the small side.
Jiae has the backside of September. She is so pretty here!
Jisoo and Mijoo share October. These two are so adorable.
Mijoo has the backside of October. That smaller side also alternates in color, with canary yellow for the group or general pages, and switches between baby blue and pink for the monthly pages.
Jin is so pretty here!
There is one group photo from the party shoot, along with the 2018 global calendar on the small side.
The last page has the 2018 global calendar on the large side.

Overall, I kind of regret not getting any Lovelyz' season's greetings earlier so I could cherish them more and use the calendars during their actual months. These photoshoots are so cute; I like that the sleepover shoot has that pure and innocent charm that is consistent of Lovelyz while the party shoot shows a different side of the girls.
