Infinite: 2018 Season's Greetings Review

When it comes to season's greetings (other than Golden Child), I prefer waiting for a good deal than preordering because I can't justify spending so much on a calendar. And finally that time has come for Infinite's 2018 Season's Greetings! I blogged about my purchasing experience from Kpoptown here. And before the new year arrives, I figured I should unbox this season's greetings so I can use the calendar and flip it every month, to give each page an equal share to shine.

This season's greetings is packaged slightly differently than past years' cardboard pizza box style. This one is a sleeve package box, so it comes in a sturdy cardboard box with an open top, followed by a cardstock lid, and lastly with a clear plastic to hold it all together.
The exterior packaging is huge! The dimensions are slightly greater than 8.5" by 13.25" by 2". There is also a new Infinite logo.
The backside reveals the Woollim authentication seal.
Flipping over the cardstock lid reveals the contents. This cardstock lid is the global calendar cover. The backside of the lid contains a global calendar with national holidays for China, Japan, the US, and Thailand.
The box contains the desk calendar & memo pad, the photocard set which is nestled in its own cutout, and the binder book and making DVD in the larger cutout.
The desk calendar and memo pad come in a resealable plastic bag. Pictured are also the binder, photocard set, and making DVD.

Desk Calendar & Memo Pad
The desk calendar and memo pad set came in a sealed plastic bag. The front page of the desk calendar (which is the left side) and the memo pad (the right side) both have a group photo with a glossy finish from what I'll call the colorful photoshoot. All the calendar pages are matte. There are a total of 14 pages (28 double sided) for the calendar portion. When flat, the dimensions are about 12.75" by 8". When standing, it is about 8" tall and the base is about 2.75".
The backside of the first page reveals the 2018 calendar, and highlights the members' birth dates and Infinite's 8th anniversary.
There is one member per month, starting with Sunggyu in January and in July, then going down the line in age order. The front page shows 2 images from the colorful shoot. The bottom lists the days of the month and highlights holidays, Sundays, members' birth dates, and Infinite's anniversary.
Here is the backside of January. The backsides are all from the white photoshoot and all include 2 images per month. The backsides of the memo pad pages are all blank.
Here is the front side of February. For the memo pad, there are 72 pages double sided and it alternates between the member's printed message and autograph (from oldest to youngest) and a lined page like above.
Here is the front side for March, along with Woohyun's memo page.
Here is the backside of April. I love how calm and natural this photoshoot is.
I always love Myungsoo and cameras; it's always such a pretty aesthetic.
Sungjong is just so adorable here!
I really love these photos; it really reminds me of Infinite's 2014 Season's Greetings.
The front side of the last page has a group photo from the white photoshoot.
The last page contains the calendar for 2019. The members' birth dates and Infinite's 9th anniversary are highlighted.

Photocard Set
The photocard set comes in a matte cardboard box.
There are 60 photocards, 10 per member. It was pre-sorted in age order, then by photoshoot. All photocards have a smooth finish.
Here are all 60 photocards. They contain photos from both photoshoots used in the desk calendar, along with that extra black and white photoshoot.
The backside of each photocard contains that member's printed autograph and message. Each message is different. (I rotated the cards and photo orientation, so the furthest right column is now Sunggyu's cards, with the top row here being what was the left column in the previous picture).

Binder Book
The binder is really high quality! It's thick and sturdy and is meant to display all 60 photocards. I'm really happy that this set comes with a binder so that we can display and easily view all the photocards.
There are 10 of these double-sided pocket sleeves, just enough to fit all 60 photocards. Each sleeve is really high quality and thick, and each side can contain 3 cards so no card is sharing a sleeve with another card; some downsides are that the sleeves are really tight, so it's hard putting the photocards in, and the double-sided feature makes it so that you won't see the backsides of the cards.

Making DVD
The making DVD comes in a paper envelope. The DVD is for all regions, is 23 minutes long, and has Korean subtitles. The entire clip comprises of the members' group interview while seated for the colorful photoshoot. Segments include Infinite's Recent Talk, The Reason This Video Was Taken Today, What I Want To Achieve Next Year, My Honest Story (which gives a different question to each member), and various questions. The My Honest Story segment was entertaining especially when the question shocked that member and the other members would just laugh. Sungyeol's question was "What is Golden Child's Daeyeol to Sungyeol?" For one of the questions, they asked the members' thoughts on being an Infinite member at this moment, and L started singing "As Good As It Gets". The remaining 4 minutes show filming behind the scenes from both the colorful shoot and white shoot, for both OT6 and individual shots.

I'm really happy to slowly build my Infinite season's greetings collection! This one kind of hurts since it's the start of OT6, but it is what it is. I really like the inclusions of this set, especially that it comes with a binder for the photocards so that I can properly view all the cards (though just the front side).
