The limited edition albums have been out for one day over four weeks now, and it's hard browsing online and seeing others being so happy with their albums. Even my friend who recommended this site received the Yonghwa version as a surprise birthday present (her friend ordered it from a different site)! The package arrived yesterday, so exactly 3 weeks since it shipped, right in the middle of the estimated 2-4 weeks. Kpoptown really tested my limit on how long I could wait for limited edition album! But it's all okay, because it has finally arrived:

My Kpoptown Package! (Preordered Album)
Kpoptown is an online retailer that sells kpop albums, DVDs, collectibles, jewelry inspired by idols, as well as Korean beauty brands and fashion (some of which relate to kpop). I preordered CNBlue's Re: Blue Limited Edition Yonghwa Version through Kpoptown. Despite the positive review my friend gave about Kpoptown, I wasn't too happy with them. I preordered my album 2 days before the release date of January 31, 2013. According to the site, preordered items should be shipped in 1-4 days from the release date. However, my package didn't ship until 8 days after the release date. I did email them to check up on my order, but that didn't really speed up the process. After being shipped, I received an email saying that my package should come to the US in 2-4 weeks.

It came in a plastic delivery envelope with bubble wrap inside. The photo book itself had a sealed plastic wrap on it and another bubble wrap pouch over it. Overall the product was nicely sealed and there were no nicks or scratches. I'm so ecstatic that it's finally here!! Here are the actual contents of the Re:Blue Limited Edition album, along with a pack of photo cards that came as a pre-order gift.
I will post my review of CNBlue's Re: Blue Limited Edition Yonghwa Version soon!

ReplyDeleteThank you~
ReplyDeleteI've ordered from them before, but it's my first time pre-ordering so this was very helpful! The album came out today, so I just had to be sure how many days it would take them to ship it ^o^ 1-4 days?
I'm glad this helped! I've pre-ordered from Kpoptown.com several times, and all of my pre-orders did ship the day after it was released, except for this album which was delayed for some reason.
DeleteThis is random, but do you know if kpoptown devalues packages or do they declare the purchase price? Did you have to pay for any fees at your door, is basically what I'm asking.
ReplyDeleteHi! I looked at three of my kpoptown packages, and they always marked mine as a gift, that it's a compact disk, and that it's worth $8. I always get it shipped to the US and have never had to pay any fees at my door^^
DeleteThank you so much! I live in Canada, so hopefully the US isn't too different from the Canadian customs.
DeleteNo problem! Also if you're worried about your order being devalued and marked as a gift, you could order from ktown4u.com; you can choose to mark it as gift or merchandise, and the value (though if you leave it blank, I believe they automatically use the order total).
DeleteI've ordered from them a lot already. I love them!
DeleteBut I want the Infinite second invasion in Seoul dvd and that's only on kpoptown. :( But I'll order it and keep my fingers crossed they devalue it. lol
Hehe I switched over from kpoptown to ktown4u, I love them too!!
DeleteOoh that concert dvd is so hard to find now! I'm glad you were able to find it at kpoptown; hehe enjoy it and I hope all goes well~!
haha that's what I did too! only I switched from kpopmart to ktown4u. I regret nothing so far. *knock on wood*
DeleteIKR? It took me forever to find (outside of ebay at least), but I'm glad I did. Unlike the Infinite that summer 2012 dvd that was even harder to find I ended up caving and buying it for $150ish (which canada post broke in the mail so now two disc don't stay in place), only to find it on amazon.ca like a week after it arrived at my house for $55ish. I legit could've cried. hahah
but I did luck out once in finding BTOB's hello melody dvd from a website one province over from mine for $75, where as foreign websites/ebay had it either soldout or $300+. Also could've cried at that (though this time out of happiness). lol
Canada makes it so hard and expensive for me to stan properly.
haha that's funny! I mainly switched over because I like how they offer free posters~
DeleteI can't believe you got the TSC dvd for ~$150!! And that seriously sucks the post broke it.....I think the hardest thing about being an international fan is getting damaged goods :( And I can't believe a week later amazon had it in stock -.-
Dang, you got really lucky for BTOB's! Haha we're in the same boat, the struggles of collecting merchandise when things are so rare, expensive, and can get damaged in shipping >.<
